Let me start off by saying how much I LOVE this couple! They are the kind of people you are instantly drawn to. The first time I officially met them was on their wedding day. Mariel lives in Alabama, Daniel lives in Colorado, I live in Illinois, and they got married in Michigan! How's that for crossing state lines!
Mariel was giddy all day as she prepared to walk down the isle and become Mrs. Brookins! I love the pure joy and happiness that is found on a wedding day. Both sides of the families were truly some of the kindest people I have ever met.
Mariel got ready at Heidi Christines Salon and Spa in Ada Michigan and then headed over to her moms to put on her dress and share a first look with her dad. In the meantime Daniel was with the groomsmen at Quail Ridge Golf Course in Ada Michigan prepping to share his first look with is bride.
Daniel and Mariel shared an intimate first look on the Ada Covered Bridge. I couldn't get over how adorable they were and the smile they brought to each others faces! Not only were they shining, but God was shining through them!
During the ceremony the rain began to mist and then fall a little heavier. I must say it was extremely beautiful! It was as if God was showering them with His graces! Daniel's dad married them and the cross was made by Mariel's dad. It was such an intimate ceremony with so many personal touches! The rain didn't steal away their happiness, in fact they totally embraced it and even took more pictures out in the rain after the ceremony! What a rockstar couple!
I loved the time, attention, and details Mariel and Daniel put into their day. They made all of their own centerpieces and flower arrangements! I still cannot get over how beautiful her decor was! Everything was absolutely perfect! From the start of the day all the way to the end sparkler exit! .........They do say rain is good luck on a wedding day!
I felt very blessed to have been able to be a part of their day and witness the love these two have for one another! They will have a beautiful life together full of love for each other and the Lord!
