Celebrating William

Meet Jeff and Emily, parents to little Nathan and two of the most amazing people you will ever meet! I am honored that they would choose me to help them tell their intimate story of their faith in God in the depths of a difficult valley in their lives this year. Only their faith in God has given them the strength to get through this heartbreak and ONLY God has been the one who has lifted them up and given them hope in the most difficult time in their lives. It is His strength that keeps them going each day. It’s His promises that they cling to.

This is their story:

At 20 weeks pregnant with baby boy number two, Jeff and Emily got the news that no parent ever wants to hear. They were told their baby was not developing as he should be. Through various doctors appointments, ultrasounds, and testings, it was determined that their sweet William would continue to decline. William has an extremely rare chromosomal disorder called, Triploidy. This disorder sadly results in a still birth.

Heartbroken and grieving, Jeff and Emily are being strengthened during this trial by the amazing love and comfort given to them by God. They are thankful for that comfort and right now, Jeff and Emily are celebrating the time they have been given with William in the womb. They are counting each day that Emily carries William a blessing and through it all they are clinging to this verse :

1 Peter 1:6-7

"In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed."

We love you Jeff, Emily, Nathan, and William
